Special characteristics (SC) & FMEA: Mastering consistency Secure SC and meet all requirements
Securing special characteristics requires in-depth knowledge and is cost intensive. Legal aspects of the special characteristics pose another challenge. Conformity with the IATF 16949 requirements is ultimately only possible by way of optimal concepts for the identification and safeguarding of the special characteristics. Special characteristics are product and/or procedural characteristics that have a direct impact on the safety, approval and/or functions of the system. The VDA volume on the special characteristics defines categories and safety concepts over the entire product life cycle, among other things. The FMEA activities are of particular importance for the identification and safeguarding as well as the "legally compliant" verification of the special characteristics. The webinar will demonstrate how the special characteristics are handled (identified, documented and secured) efficiently and in compliance with standards.
