Six Sigma Black Belt

Persons with a Six Sigma Black Belt Training is responsible and team leader in Six Sigma projects. Six Sigma Black Belts are trained and trained in advanced applied statistics. Your apprenticeship lasts 4 weeks.

Six Sigma Black Belts can also use Six Sigma software to solve complex problems. Due to the (almost) full-time employment of Six Sigma, the Six Sigma Black Belts are able to move easily with the appropriate software and can quickly learn about other projects and provide important support.

Support of Six Sigma Green Belts by Six Sigma Black Belts is mandatory.

Six Sigma Black Belts are expected to spend at least 60% of their working time on Six Sigma projects. Black Belt Projects usually have a scope of 6 – 9 months and lead to a permanent savings potential of around €100,000 per year.Typical training levels for Six Sigma Black Belts are academics (e. g. engineers, chemists, physicists, biologists, physicians, etc.).

The Six Sigma Black Belt Training lasts 20 days, of which the first 10 days are identical to the Six Sigma Green Belt Training. The total of 20 days are spent in blocks of e. g. 5 days each. Between 2 training blocks each, the participants should have enough time (e. g. 2 – 3 weeks) to use and train what they have learned in the application case and in their own Six Sigma projects. It makes sense to use the Six Sigma Black Belt to complete training over a period of 4 months.
