DC Talk goes online. Under the motto "Ask. Knowledge. Inspiration.", a current and clearly defined topic from the world of QM and risk management will be focused on, presented and further developed at regular intervals.     Winfried Dietz is the founder and managing partner of DIETZ Consultants with subsidiaries in Asia and North America. He shoulders the responsibility of the FMEA business area development. Winfried Dietz has more than 30 years of practical experience, 25 years thereof as a consultant, trainer and coach. Other areas of interest and work include APQP, 8D, PPAP and functional safety and their interactions. Winfried Dietz is the organiser of the annual Osnabrück FMEA Forum.

    Dr. Michael Gellner pursues the goal of optimally bringing people and systems together in various roles. As a computer scientist and communication scientist, he has been moving confidently in the interface areas of software quality, functional safety/SOTIF, cybersecurity and requirements management for over 20 years. As an FMEA moderator, risk and quality manager, he assists the makers worldwide - but as an auditor, expert and consultant to customers, he also knows their views and interests.

    Dipl.-Ing. Hans-Joachim Pfeufer studied automotive engineering in Cologne as well as automotive engineering at the RWTH Aachen and qualified as a value analyst, DGQ instructor statistics, DGQ/EOQ auditor, certified auditor VDA 6.1 and IATF 16949, process auditor VDA 6.3, EFQM-/LEP senior assessor. He worked as a witness auditor for ISO/TS 16949 and IATF 16949 at the VDA-QMC. As an independent trainer and auditor, he has specialized and is active in the areas of system and process audits, core tools (APQP/RGA, PPAP/PPF, FMEA, SPC, MSA), 8D report, special characteristics, fault tree analysis, supplier management, and requirement/provision specifications. Additionally, he trained and consulted managers and employees on QM methods and systems. Mr. Pfeufer has more than 30 years of experience in the automotive industry. He was active in various functions at BMW AG Munich. Among other things, he was responsible for method applications and process analyses in various problem-solving teams and task forces in drive development and corporate quality. He was also responsible for the requirements specification process in drive development and for audit program planning in the company as a whole. As a method specialist, he chaired the VDA working groups FMEA, Special Characteristics and the German working group for the harmonization of FMEA between VDA and AIAG. He is active in the VDA-QMC and DGQ with significant involvement in various publications.
