Dr. Dirk Jödicke

Dirk Jödicke studied chemistry in Bochum and Oviedo (Spain). After taking a doctorate in Organic Chemistry, he began his professional career in the sheet glass industry. In laboratories, pilot plants and production facilities in this industry, he worked on innovative glass and plastic composite systems, thin semiconductor films, lithium-ion conductive polymers, electrochromics, photochromics and other systems to exploit variable properties in glass for architectural and automotive applications. Numerous inventions subsequently led to the successful market launch of so-called intelligent windows with variable light transmission. Dirk Jödicke was Head of Research and Development and Head of Quality Assurance, and as a Six Sigma Master Black Belt he is now a freelance consultant for Six Sigma in statistical data analysis, statistical design of experiment, and process optimization.

Winfried Dietz is the founder and managing partner of DIETZ Consultants with subsidiaries in Asia and North America. He shoulders the responsibility of the FMEA business area development. Winfried Dietz has more than 30 years of practical experience, 25 years thereof as a consultant, trainer and coach. Other areas of interest and work include APQP, 8D, PPAP and functional safety and their interactions. Winfried Dietz is the organiser of the annual Osnabrück FMEA Forum.

Dr. Alexander Schloske

Mr Schloske is a senior expert at the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineeringand Automation IPA in Stuttgart. He has several years of project experience in qualitymanagement, in the most diverse sectors. Professionally, his points of main effort involvemethodical FMEA-based product and process optimisation operations, as well as thesafeguarding (as per ISO 26262) of mechatronic systems vis-à-vis the aspect of ‘functionalsafety’. He delivers lectures on quality management at the University of Stuttgart; alsoon the topic of quality management in product development at the Vienna University ofTechnology. He is a speaker at various educational institutions, such as the German Societyfor Quality e.V. (DGQ).

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Andreas Braasch is managing partner at the Institute for Quality and Reliability Management. There, he is primarily concerned with liability issues of technical systems as well as the safety and reliability of autonomous systems. He is on the road worldwide as an expert witness in product liability cases and helps automotive suppliers in particular to establish "equality of arms" with the supposedly overpowering OEMs. Since 2020, Andreas Braasch has also been a professor of safety and reliability management at the Ruhr West University of Applied Sciences (HRW) and is pleased to be able to pass on his knowledge to future engineers.

Riccardo Stüber is the Senior Specialist for FMEA at Schaeffler Technologies AG & Co KG in Herzogenaurach. After several years in quality assurance, Stüber (a qualified electronics technician) has been a design, process, and logistics FMEA moderator and specialist for 10 years now.
